The intake looks good.

I wonder if that tube that you pulled up was actually the front brake cooling vent. Not sure, I should look at mine.

That tube connects to the bottom of the stock intake box.

hmmmm cool, that was quick So does anyone know what the tube does?? Maybe then it feeds the air pump???? Just have to be careful with which tube you pull.

The other end of the tube is connected to a box that behind a portion of the grille in the front bumper. It gives a sort of ram air effect at speed.

ya the tube comes from the bumper and connects to the stock airbox

so...... that tube is sort of an auxiliary air inlet? so TECHNICALLY it doesn't matter *WHAT* it's attached to, right? but obviously if i could have it pointing at the filter, that would be ideal, yes? Hm perhaps I'll just go to my local hardware store and buy some piping and attach it to make it reach
