Assist problem
When I was trying to install a phone (and they didn't work) I am sure the assist menu was OK (although of course I didn't try it). I bought a new phone SonyEricsson T610 which works fine for calls both making and receiving but I was showing someone last night the different functions and the assist function says Assist not available "Check Phone". The phone was in its cradle and my address book was on the screen and I had an amber light on the top right. Any ideas? Thanks John |

Thanks for the quick reply
It is a Sep 2005 with bmw standard bluetooth and NAV. All I fitted was the amrest holder for a 610 and a 610. When I say I was trying different things it was just trying to pair different phones. all SonyEricsson t39m and a p900. The wife's phone (a t610) worked perfectly (or so I thought) so I bought one of them and the holder off Ebay. I had to fix the power on the 610 but as I say it all works fine for normal calls. I would have thought assist would then just use the attached phone with an internal number to dial out. I could try deleting all phones and starting again! John |
