Are these new rotor dings bad? Return them?

I just received new rotors but they got a couple of dings due to the rough handling by UPS. Should I return them or these dings are minor and will have no negative effect on braking performance whatsoever? I want to avoid the hustles of unnecessarily returning them and delaying my project. FCPEuro are willing to take them back but have reassured me they're ok to install and present no safety or performance issues, but I can't just take their word for it without verification from you guys.

Thanks!

I would put them on and check for run-out. If they are good that way run them.

I don't think those dings will be an issue.

What rotors / pads you going with? I need new brakes soon.

TIP: clean the hubs completely with wire brush and a drill before install. The rotors will need a CLEAN and flat surface to ensure they are not giving you "run out issues" (shudder under braking)

From FCPEuro.com- Zimmerman rotors and Akebono EUR pads.

Let me know how you like those pads. Right now, I have some cheap drilled slotted rotors and unknown pads (from po). I've been driving on them for a few years, low dust, but the bite is nonexistent. And they squeak like crazy once warmed up. I'm waiting for them to be used up to replace, but they are still at about 50%. I might just swap them out because they are really getting annoying. I've never had much luck with aftermarket pads. They either squeak or don't have enough stopping power (or both). OEM is pretty dusty but I love the bite.

I have the E39 version of the same pads and they're ok (no squeaks). Yes, the initial bite is not as good as OEM but I'd rather that than the copious dust of OEM pads.

I ran 163,000 miles on my first set of Akebono pads. I've got 260,000 miles on my current Brembo rotors with no measurable wear. They don't have the initial OEM grab, but they never fade under heat and the wheels stay clean.
