Anyone ever retrofit rear self leveling suspension?
I haul heavy stuff in the back and tow all the time so its a really useful feature to me. I figured I could take the parts off of my old 4.4i and retrofit them onto my 4.8is and sell the 4.4 with regular suspension. I'd get new airbags while I'm in there as well. That means I'd have the new Bilstein shocks all around, H&R springs up front and air springs in the rear. Any difference in height I figure I could rectify by coding the modules. Anyone have any experience or see any problems with this? Thanks! PS if anyone is selling an OEM Hitch PM me! I don't care for the aftermarket one on my 4.4. |
