Random Smell Of Fuel In Cab

Hey Guys,

Occasionally, I get the smell of fuel in the cab of the truck.
It comes and goes but on the highway with the window cracked open, it seems more constant.

I would assume that a broken or leaking fuel line would result in an easy identification of the smell with the vehicle stopped but that's not the case.

So there is the obvious to me stuff like the fuel lines, regulator, injectors etc and I may even be smelling the symptoms of leaking fuel injectors but what else is up front that could potentially cause a smell of fuel in the cab?

I believe it is engine bay related or else I probably wouldn't smell anything at highway speeds with the window cracked open.

Maybe pull the rear seat bottom cushion and check the pump cover for leaks.

.Check for leaking fuel in the engine bay, turn off hvac recirculute to see if there is a difference or not.
.Gas tank fuel vent hose broken, or worse, the nippe on the tank is broken.
. Under rear seat cushion, as desribed above.
