Master Window Switch sometimes working
I jumped the window motor and the window works just fine My question is, since the switch works only when you can fry an egg on the door, can the switch be fixed or do I need to shell out 150 on ebay for a new master switch? Thank you, |

Is it the switch on your driver door you're having issues with? If so, sometimes the solder inside the circuitry can run and make some cross connections. I was able to fix mine by cleaning the contacts going to the switch and the door harness going to the body from the door.

I would definitely start with a good cleaning. Very likely a loose or dirty connection is your problem. Heat makes metal expand and makes the contact close. It cools off and opens.

Also. I have a spare window switch if you need. I bought it to fix mine, but cleaning the contacts did the trick. Lmk!
