Liqui Moly Jectron Fuel Injection Cleaner Does it Work?

Tried out the Liqui Moly cleaner the other day and like most, was skeptical. But it actually made a huge improvement. The fuel mileage was improved after only 500 miles of driving on my X5 4.4i.

Definitely going to put in a second can at 1200 miles! The 4.4i needs all the help it can get to improve fuel economy.

What do you guys think, what injector cleaners do you use?

I am not sure you need to change the oil when using F.I. cleaner.

There is a difference between:
* F.I. cleaner (adding Liqui Moly etc. in the fuel tank) vs engine oil cleaner (adding another Liqui Moly product to the engine oil, in that case the oil needs to be changed soon afterward).

To answer your question, this thread is a good READ:

I agree, I think electricalservx5 was thinking of the oil additive, this one here:

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I added the Liqui Moly engine treatment to the oil right before I changed it and did it about 10 miles ago it seemed to work just fine to me - I add Techron to the tank once every couple months and usually add Lucas every other tank
