Wow, fantastic. great story and thanks for sharing. I am not sure if the halos can be put on as DRLs without custom wiring on our e53s.

Very cool Bcredliner! Could you please share how you wired it? I'd love to have it on my E39 and X5.

Thanks!

I had a multiple positive trigger for the AEs. I wired one to one of the inside lights so when I unlock it or open a door or the hatch the AEs light up. I wired the other to a wire that gets juice when the key is turned on so they are always on when driving.

I bought some knock off angel eyes (move my HID low over) both sides for less than one usedo OEM. My lenses are total Frost after 160,000 miles and I was about to have them polished clear when I found some aftermarket with Halo ELM style so they are nice Bright Halo. They are wired to the parking light which means in can manually achieve DRL Halo. If you can code in parkinig light on remote unlock that woukd be very cool for finding car in parkinig lot

This is how I accomplished as well, through the use of a relay. It's very common for BMW's, first really done in the e36 but most common in the e46.

Cool How do you upload pics?

Crystalworks,

I haven't the slightest idea how to upload any pictures. A search for help on the subject turned up nothing. How do I go about uploading pics to the website?

Click on go advanced and scroll down to attach files. click on manage attachments. Click on choose file and choose the file and then click on upload. You will see at the bottom the max six of the file. I use a jpeg file and adjust the file by size and/or definition to be less the max allowed.
