If you own an e38/e39/e53 or think you may own one or more of these models in the future...this is a one of the BMW PDFs you should down load and save.

There's tons of info in this Central Body Electric (ZKE III) PDF that includes intricate & specific details about:
  • power distribution
  • windshield wiping/washing systems
  • FZV (central locking)
  • remote keyless entry
  • DWA (anti-theft system)
  • power windows/sunroof
  • interior lighting
  • seat/mirror/steering column(functions)
  • General Functions (consumer cut off/overload protection & sleep mode)

I'm looking for somewhere that shows what to change when you download the file from NCS expert to get auto locking and windows up with remote on my e39 and e53.

Google "BMW coding forum" or "NCS for dummies" (I'm not calling you names...just recommending search phrases )...there are multiple BMW forums that have a coding sections which should help you. Since there are multiple software brands that allow for this...they should eventually cover the software you have along with it's capabilities.

For example...found this typing NCS for Dummies (in a google search box): https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...ith-NCS-Expert

You can do it with NCS Expert and then translate through NCS Dummy. Pulling the GM3 file and then modifying it and resending but honestly, PA Soft 1.4 will do this in less than 2 minutes start to finish. What you want is auto locking by speed setting and convenient open/locking.

Please buy one.

PA soft is more user friendlier for diagnostic and basic coding....though can also do some advance coding but I don't recommend it.

INPA more powerful than PA Soft and can get additional hidden features.

For all in one advance coding Rheingold or ISTA-D/P

NCSExpert is outdated and does not support some vehicles....i think and can get lost in German translation easily....in my case.

$650.00!? I already have a cable that can interface with the modules. On their site they don't tell you how much for just the software.
