I just change the alternator on my 4.8is, and when the car was on the ramp, i see some coolant exactlly between the engine and gearbox. Can someone tell me please whats wrong, and what i have to check ? Thanks |

There is a coolant channel at the back of the engine.
Basically a hole where coolant comes out, then goes back in. There is a steel panel with a rubber gasket on it. I believe this is your issue. The bad news is the gearbox must be removed to access it. https://youtu.be/F_gjFZJbAoE It could be other things (I think), but this is the worst case scenario. |
