4.8is coolant leak take 2

Hi ppl. I didnt find a good answer for my problem, so i will ask.

I just change the alternator on my 4.8is, and when the car was on the ramp, i see some coolant exactlly between the engine and gearbox.

Can someone tell me please whats wrong, and what i have to check ?

There is a coolant channel at the back of the engine.

Basically a hole where coolant comes out, then goes back in. There is a steel panel with a rubber gasket on it. I believe this is your issue.

The bad news is the gearbox must be removed to access it.

It could be other things (I think), but this is the worst case scenario.
