INPA Abs Bleeding cannot read module CHASSIS DSC57

Hello,

I have inpa 5.0.1 installed and I need to cycle my abs pump to do a full bleed. However, I am unable to access the DSC module from the Chassis, it get me a 0009 error. I am able to access other modules.

Car is a 05 X5 4.8IS.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bo

I have no clue if it'll help but maybe a more recent version on INPA could help, I have 5.0.6 from a file called "BMWEasytools.zip".

Are you able to communicate with all the other modules? Pin 7 and 8 bridged on your dongle?

If so, a visual on the pins of the dongle to make sure they are straight and the only suggestion from there would be to update your E53 Daten files...

Hi

Yes I can communicate with all the other modules. I do get some version and language error randomly. Do you think it's more daten or connector ? As they all look straight.

Can you verify pins 7 and 8 are bridged with a visual inspection taking it apart or an with an ohmmeter? I believe the ABS module will use pin 8 and must be bridged to pin 7.

Do you have PA Soft/BMW Scanner? It would be interesting tu run a full scan and see if it sees the DSC Module and what software it has.

Or maybe a full scan of the car on INPA to see if it finds a DSC module for error reading or not even that.
