Replacement plastic locking clips (cowl, cabin air filter)

Any suggestions for replacing broken plastic locking clips that are used to hold down the cowl plate and cabin air filter cover (x5 e53)? I just purchased an X5 with a few of these clips broken. They are still attached, but the lower locking cogs are broken, and the spring has them hanging in the open position. Can they be replaced individually, or must I purchase the entire cowl or cabin air filter cover?

We have gone through this before. As I recall the part is not shown on E53 parts list. I have the part # for the spring locks written down as 64318385244

I have the same dilemma - lost two clips (the female bit) when undoing the cowl. They disappeared in the cavity behind the fender and for the life of me, I couldn't retrieve them...
If you do find someone selling these, I would like to order some too.

This is great info, thanks! I was told by the dealership I would have to buy the entire cover for the micro filter housing. I didn't believe him. Is the female part of 64318385244 part # 51711947419?

A related question - anyone figure out a reasonable way to replace a broken plastic hinge on the cabin air filter door?

The spring clips that hold the housing in place have no female part.

Is part number 64318385244 applicable to both the cabin air cover AND the cowl plate? Only difference I can see on my E53 is the color of the locking insert (and one at the center has a larger tab on it)...

Not positive of that but to the best of my recollection they are the same.
