Good day all!!

Well, I am letting Whitney sit for a while since I can not seem to get a good computer program completed... So, I'm directing my attention to the other vehicles...

I have new Arnott air bags for Red... I had planned on putting them in today, but that didn't go as planned either... Another day...

I have Becky all legal and on the road... I have all new upper gaskets ready to install to get rid of the "smoke of shame" after sitting at a light... I'll keep yous all posted on the outcome of that experiment...

A little history on this one... I got it cheap... Kinda... Last 7 are LV00151... It had ran hot for some reason... PO put a new water pump on it... This did not fix the issue... I later found out the motor had gotten so hot that it melted the spark plug tubes where they touched the cylinder head... I figured this out when I could not get the spark plug socket down to the spark plug... So, out came the motor in favor of a YOU PULL IT YARD (YPIY) motor... The replacement motor is fine, except for the smoke of shame issue... Pulls hard and idles smooth...

So, the first question I have for yous guys is what would you use to get rid of that "bars stop leak" stuff?! I'm guessing it was used at some point prior to the motor melt down... While the radiator doesn't really show signs of being clogged, the heater core does... I'd hate to pull the heater core just to get the gunk out of it... It flows hot water, but so slowly the fan cools it off if on any speed other than lowest setting... I haven't really had to deal much with clogged cooling system items... I'd just swap them out in the past, but this heater core is a little bit of work, AFAIK... I have checked the valves and they are open... The inlet hoses are too hot to touch, but the return hose is barely warm...

Okay, this is a good start...
