what?...3.0/4.4/4.6is/4.8is? You left no model/model year/build date nor which suspension system you have.
Remember to help us help you better by leaving enough information about your vehicle that we know what it is and how it may be optioned.
The e53 X5 has two different self leveling suspension...there's a rear axle only (EHC I) and a dual axle self leveling system (EHC II). There is nothing you can "add" to the system...since there's no reservoir to open and add anything.
