trans failsafe prog
codes 5 pressure regulator eds 5 18 magnetic valve mv1, mv2 battery voltage 11.8 not running 13.6 running when it throws the trans code it makes a noise at the transmission sounding like a pressure line leak , but no leak. when i went to clear a trans code yesterday with the code reader plugged in it said no/low voltage and couldnt let me clear the code. could my battery be the culprit? or am i looking at a valve body? ALSO code 58 CAN: open circuit to ags popped up Last edited by jessezipper; 01-17-2018 at 07:11 PM. |

Battery is definitely in the line up of suspects...
Sort that first and see what is left for you to deal with. These cars are well known for throwing errors when the battery gets low (and 11.8 is very low...).

Yup - Its your battery, the trans has an electric sensor in it and if it loses connection with the ECU it gets all angry and starts to throw warning errors.
