Window Trim Falling Apart?

So I have a window regulator that failed on me and I put a bit of cardboard in the window to hold it up until the part comes in. We had heavy rain last night and I noticed that the cardboard was actually fairly saturated. I didn't notice any water inside the car, but it doesn't mean it's not down inside the door. Below are some photos I took of the trim that is falling apart... thoughts on trying to repair this? Could this be why the cardboard was saturated? Sadly all my windows have this issue with the trim.

- Rubber dry rot...

- Just get new trim moldings at dealer.

- Do them all at the same time.

Mine are the same way. Just 13 year dry rot. I have the factory window shades so mine will be a chore to do. Need to do it. The seals are about $20 each but you have to dismantle the door completely to do it. Unless someone else knows a bit of a shortcut. 🤞🏻

I was about to ask about that... I also have the factory window shades...
Just got a quote from BMW of San Fran for 25$ per side. Upon realization I might have to take apart the door I decided to hold up on that.

Anyone know if the whole door has to come apart? Haven't been able to find any videos on this repair.

Looks like part #51-34-8-402-575 for left and ...576 for right. Mine just started also. Looks like fun...
