Got the wife an X5 :)

Wife keeps calling all night tonight (she is at work) asking me how to pair the phone, how to set this or that.

I keep telling her each time she calls "I have never even SEEN an E70 in person so I have no idea how to do ANYTHING to it till I at least see it for the first time."

She's excited I guess but I cant help her till I at least see the thing in person and mess with it some. That reminds me of another good one from today.

She called me at the dealership getting ready to drive home. "How do I get it out of park?"

Im like "You JUST test drove the damn thing how could you not know how to get it out of park?"

She's like "I don't know. The salesman was showing me everything then!"

After going thru a bunch of buttons on the shifter she managed to get it out of park finally. She was in full on panic mode. Was hilarious !

About an hour later she called back again.

Her > "Its beeping at me and telling me Im over the speed limit"

Me > "Are you going over the speed limit?"

Her > "Yes."

Me > "Sounds like its working correctly to me."

Her > "Make it stop."

Me > "I'd rather not. Just drive the speed limit "

Her > "Click"

Another gem

Wife just called on the way home from work just now.

While Im talking to her while she is in the parking lot at work I hear an electronic chime.

Me > "Whats that noise?"

Her > "Oh that's the noise letting me know I didn't push the release button while trying to take it out of park."

Me > "Cool"

Her > "Yeah it does that when I do something wrong. Its been making that noise a bunch today"
