There are a couple of dents in the hood. One broke the paint.

Let us know what snapped as it looks like the fan blades came apart but were they the cause or was it the waterpump, or, or?
Mileage on all the parts too as many have posted that these all fail big time at 80-140K

- You are lucky the engine didn't overheat.

- The most common cause is the WP failure: bearing loose ---> wobbling fan clutch ---> blades broken off.

- You probably have > 150K miles.
