I have a 2006 4.8is with 130,000 miles. I just refreshed the entire coolant system about 6 months ago. All except the coolant pipe and the rear cover. The other day I saw some coolant and upon inspection, it is leaking out of the drain holes in the bell housing. When the coolant is drained, I also will install the cooling pipe stent. So, on to the questions. What services should I perform on the transmission while it is out? I will do a fluid and filter change but are there other random things that I should be doing? I have read about a mechatronic sleeve...what else? Also, anyone who has performed the transmission removal or these replacements, any advice that you would share would be awesome. Thanks!
