2001 E53 AUX Cooling Fan wire code

Hello fellow Xers. Just bought an E53 and the the front right wire harness into the engine Bay has been demolished in a minor accident. I had to reverse engineering in finding the wires that runs the lights and Radiator fan, due to the fact that the pigtail connectors are all missing.I need your help In telling me what codes connects to the AUX cooling fan, so I can get my Air Condition working . I've been searching for the connector that fits in that relay. Thanks in advance

Wire colors indeed. I've decided the wires on your attached schematic. I believe that's the wires for the Fan on the backside of the radiator. The other fan behind the kidney grill is what I'm referring too. I'll take pictures of it tomorrow along with the shredded harness I'm working with.

Pretty sure Andrew has it right - the aux. fan is M9 and it's connector is X82.

Double checked here...

That goofy box is the AUC it is the "nose" of the X5. It senses bad odor and will switch the HVAC to inside air when the smell is bad enough outside.

X3211..

Pin 1 - Blue
Pin 2 - Brown
Pin 3 - Yellow
Pin 4 - Brown

It'll be fun figuring out which brown is which - and it does matter. Hopefully the cut point is different on each brown wire and hey can be matched. Failing that, you might need to use a meter and trace each brown wire back to the connector on the A/C panel.

Both browns come from the same fuse so doesn't matter if you mix them up. There just needs to be a separate wire for the heater and the signal so that readings are not affected by a voltage drop. This is not going to fix the A/C though.
