Trifecta/ Gremlins

So the X is at the Indy. Have been searching past threads to see of similar symptoms . PRE facelift E53

Control arm swapped.
Shortly, trifecta occured

Scanned show front sensor.
Sensor swapped.
No change
ABS sent in for rebuild

ABS came back, no trifecta and trifecta came back 2 days later.
Did not notice before, but HDC was also lit and could not be turned off.

Voltage checks out

New Code - SAS fault. SAS changed.
Changed out connector as well on the same wheel where the sensor was change as during further diag, when the wire was moved, it went from 15mph to 0.

SLS error came up once during all of this on the cluster.

Currently :

Brake light are on with no one stepping on brakes. Can't scan car. Once the lights go off, able to scan.

Test drive car. Trans light comes up and door open comes up. Scans show trans light due to wheel sensor.

Anyone ever recall seeing a similar thread

You are describing bad wiring. Opens or shorts or both. Last time I had a car with so many gremlins I found a wire bundle that had one wire that shorted weakly to the ground not enough to blow the fuse but enough to heat the insulation of about 12 wires in the bundle enough to destroy the insulation on a dozen wires. I had to cut out about 5" of a dozen wires and splice in clean wire.

You likely have a similar problem where a wire bundle had significant damage. Start where the wire you wiggled and caused a change.

It's only 2 wires where the connector is. Chalked that up front end work, old car-dry rot. I did consider wiring but can't associate it from the initial issue where it stemmed from ya know.

Good golly . Everything just short of the kitchen sink was thrown at this.
Speed sensor
Abs rebuild
New sas as it would not reset

Drumroll
Brand New module installed and all is good .

When it rain, it pours. One week after the trifecta, seat switch module went out. Ended up getting a new one. Door carrier goes out

All from a simple ball joint refresh !

Talk about coincidental repairs. Grrrr
