valvetronic motor removal and install

Does anyone have instructions that they have used and worked for them to remove and install the valvetronic motor on the N62? I know there is a procedure to follow for the install[without the BMW software]. I looked around but nothing that I could find for the N62.

Thanks

Does either of the links at the link to the online TIS below answer your question? I typed the VIN for my 2006 X5 4.4...then typed "valvetronic" in the search box...that's how I found these: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...?q=VALVETRONIC

Thanks but that's not much information in the TIS. However I was able to find some information with Pelican Parts which was more inline with the information details I was looking for.

Be careful with those pelican instructions Do not break the seal out of the center of the Valvetronic motor. You would only do that if the motor is seized or stuck and you're going to replace it.

Hi I need to replace the a leaking valvetronic gasket on my E70 N62.

Are you saying we don't need to back out the motor?

You back it out by turning it counter-clockwise by hand. You don't break the seal on top of the motor to turn the screw as Pelican instructs. Here're the TIS instructions:

THANK YOU!!! Luckily i didn't blindly follow Pelican's instructions.

I searched on newtis but didn't find anything under "valvetronic". Didn't know it's under "servomotor"
