Strange sensation/sound on hard braking

Bushing appears fine, but from the videos I've seen online you can't really tell how shot it is until you remove it - most have crumbled in the middle. I plan to try the rolling test when the wife gets home and then just pull them both to scope it out. I'll be able to check the ball joint on the other end at the same time.

What has everyone used as replacement? Seems the top ones mentioned are:

Yea think I'll do the Meyle.

Couldn't get a good camera angle from inside but my kid stood on the side of the road and got a good shot: http://growfishtank.com/x5/x5-braking.mov

Looks like a lot of backwards movement to me! And I didn't realize how loud it was.

I loaded your video in QuickTime player and you can really see the wheel move back when you step through frame-by-frame.

Put the counter in QT to frame mode and you see the wheel movement between frames 78-79 and again between 200-201. Wow....
