Angel Eye Halos?

I have been long searching for a good setup, and now that I’m a member here, I figured I might as well ask. Could anyone provide me with the model or maybe a link of some compatible full spectrum rgb halos? Car is an E53. Preferably lights that can be combined with a mobile app, and that won’t break the bank. Thanks for the insight!

Depends on what year your X is. What is it?

I personally am not a fan of RGB halos. I think anything except for white doesn't go with the car and the RGB halos are usually pretty thick and look funky.

But TRS and DD are pretty reliable.

What year is your X5? I think the Pre and post LCI have different diameter rings.

Pre is ~158mm, ~127mm diameter "horseshoes"

I'll measure my post LCI ones that were removed during my headlight modding to add to your post later wangwolf.

And I agree. White or bust for halos. When I was a kit I ran purple CCFL's on my TiAg E46 coupe. Loved it then... wonder what I was thinking now.

I'll need to double check the measurements when I open up my pre-lci headlight. I have plans to do quad projectors and angel eyes in the coming months

It’s a 2005, and if you guys have something better that could still be rgb, please hit me with any ideas you have. I’ve heard custom projectors from people and fog lights to drl strips

RGB demon eyes and etched projector lenses are a thing. But I think they're kinda "ricey" and dont fit the e53.

Look at Lightwerkz work. Don't think he posts much on this forum anymore.

You can also get 10% off by using code code "junkie" on his site.

You could also look up e39 and e46 headlight retrofits and mods for inspiration.

So i was wondering. When I clicked on the Diodedynamics link it took me directly to a page with halos, are those the kind that would fit, or do they have to be the horseshoe shaped ones? Mine is a 2005 so idk if that is pre or post lci but you must know. Thanks for the help.

That is post LCI. I'll take a picture and measure my post LCI OE rings later.
