I use Rheingold with computer to delete all fault codes. And only three minor codes come up right away. Start the engine and have a test drive in my backyard. Even without the safe trans fail program but I can feel the slipping. The three lights still there. Idle the engine for over 30 mins. Reconnecting the computer, 13 fault codes pop up but without the EGS codes.

Do I need drive the car to reach the minimum cycle requirement to get the data?

Update! Now it's sure a left rear broken ABS wires caused the issue. It still might be other reasons. But I hope this is the one. I will update it if the problem is resolved after fixing the broken wires. Now I need to find where is it.

Updating...I bought an exchange ABS module ($274) from ebay vendor, Module Repair Pro. I installed it and coded it. And now the three lights are disappeared. But the transmission still has skipping issue. I was told with a bad transmission. It's hard to believe it. That's not easy to replace it myself.

What it's done?
1, Transmission fluid changed only. Bought fluid from BAVAUTO and followed its video. Tried to replace the filter and gasket but failed because the screws are stuck and many of them are stripped. Still struggling with these issues.
2, Changed all four wheel speed sensors;
3, Checked all fuses related. No brown fuses.
4, Bought a BMW KDCAN device from Germany and get a report attached.
5, Went to a shop and was told that it's not worth to repair the transmission.

Codes (more details attached)
31 EGS:Symptom, gear monitoring
3B EGS:Stall speed
34 EGS: Gear monitoring 2

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Best advice was given to you at the beginning of your post. You have a ZF transmission and they are notorious for cracking a drum inside or splitting o-rings. When this happens it can't maintain the hydraulic pressure on the clutch plates, so the trans slip. The only fix is to replace or rebuild the trans, and like the advice given to you by the mechanic it not worth fixing.

Hi Andrew...always appreciate your help from the very beginning. There are four codes are gone after replacing DSC module. They are:

000058 DSC: Precharging pump -1
00001E DSC: Wheel-speed sensor, rear left, transmits no signals -1
00001F DSC: Wheel-speed sensor, rear right, transmits no signals
000051 DSC: Pressure sensor, line

And after code it with software NCS Expert, those three lights mentioned at the very beginning are disappeared from dashboard!

Thanks!
