Hitch cap

My car did not come with a hitch and the hitch cap has fallen off. Now my rear pumper has a big hole and it looks kind of ugly. I just wondering if anyone have installed a hitch on their truck and do not need the cap anymore. Please let me know and I like to buy it from you. Thanks

Go to your dealer and ask him for one of the ones they've removed from another Customer's X5 when installing the hitch. I installed my hitch and my first effort at cutting the insert (cap) to fit around the hitch receiver was not up to my asthetic standards so I went to my dealer and the service manager GAVE me a take-off from another X5, gratus.

you always could stick the receiver/ball in it to help keep the guy behind you a little further away - don't laugh or scoff, got rear ended in one of my Broncos and the hitch/receiver distributed the shock thru the frame and miminized damage to just a few scratches on the bumper

Agree. Dealer kept mine so stands to reason they have some.
