Here's a new one - bushing found at oil change

Hi guys,

I may have jinxed it when I said on the other thread "no issues" from the check valve that came out a few oil changes ago. Today, the shop found this with the oil. Something tells me this is really not good. It looks like it should be part of something that rotates. It is worn, so that helps that theory. So, any guesses?
