I know there’s lots of info on here and Pelican Parts have some good pictoral step by step guides too (although no torque settings - and while I’m relatively handy, I’m not a professional and so don’t have the feel for correct tightness etc....) - and NEWTIS is also pretty good - but wondered whether the E60 Bentley manual would be a useful purchase for engine work - as I can source a new copy for about £50 (but won’t ever own a five series!).
Thanks! |

You just need to look at the 5 and 7 series Bently manuals concerning the N62.
It's all there

Ah thanks for this. I can get a new E60 Bentley manual for around £45 - but don’t want to buy yet another manual which claims to cover the engine but doesn’t! Was pretty pi**ed off when I received my e53 manual and saw it only covered the m54 and 3 litre engines in any meaningful detail.
Thanks again. |
