Gotta measure of the first project yet of adding a supercharger the 91' 850i I've been eyeing the last three months. But afterwards this looks promising.
To clarify, we are talking about a supercharger application for the N62 (facelift V8s). I believe superchargers for your 3.0i have long been available.

Ah okay. I haven't looked for anything for the 3.0i apart from factory / keeping the bastard running. Haha. Probably grab an N62 down the line , kids are few years from driving so the 3.0i will more than likely get passed on and something more powerful and mod-able acquired.

Who tunes these? The tune is just as important if not more important.

For me it's all about the tune and driveability.

I'm thinking they'll be around $10k.
That's what they had sold for when they first made them.

ESS does their own tuning.
They offer a kit for our trucks now. Pricey tho.

I think around 5k, more likely give then take, is where it will be. The last kit was a major fail because nobody was going to pay the close to 9-10k they were asking. Let’s wait & see... & hope!

Rumor: New ESS N62 SC

We are talking about ESS.
Their stuff usually costs more than others.

They wouldn't be very wise to charge $9-10k for the kit in my opinion.
