Yes, sensors can get out of whack... I went over a weird off camber corner and found this...
This is how they should sit with the arm pointing upwards ![]() and this is how I found one... ![]() I fixed it by undoing it and having the arm upwards but then we found that the sensor itself while operable, was not outputting correctly....

Congrats on the fix! Sometimes it's the simplest things.

this is not my issue - both of my sensors are aligned as you photo #1. Swapped left and right front sensors with new ones, and the driver front is still reading off. Would this be consistent with a problem in the rideheight module?

I don't know how he did it, but my indy re-initialized /reset my system each time we changed something, otherwise (as I found) your changes mean zip.
Based on what happened to me, I would be checking the battery cold state charge and running a refurb kit through the compressor. Even though my compressor came on, it didn't have enough pressure to get the system to proper ride heights, which in turn generated faults. When it was all done, my indy checked the ride heights vs the settings. If you've done all that, then yes I would be looking at the EHC module.

Not sure. Never used Pa soft. INPA has never failed me. I’ll check voltages for you tomorrow if I don’t brain fart.

still have not figured this out... how often does the leveling unit go bad (p/n 37246779713). Might also be called the valve block located behind the front pass wheel under the rocker panel?
Pump comes on, but bags dont inflate. When i disconnect the lines from the block and apply air directly to each bag, each wheel raises. Trying to figure out if the block has gone bad, of if its the control unit responsible for not directing the air. |

If I may here please?
I went to hell with my 4.8is Air Suspension Inactive. I tried almost everything including complete rebuild of the compressor drier, piston etc from bagpipingandy.com Sometimes it would work all on its own. Then it would just return in a failed state. In desperation I took the car to a trusted BMW Independent. Plugged into their software they found two faults that my icarsoft & INPA did not find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These were a front left & rear right ride height sensor(s) replaced along with a bag that looked on its last legs. That was six months ago and the car has behaved since.
