Door panel arm rest leather fix!

So I found a nice quick fix for the door panel arm rest leather that comes loose! So what I did was get some shoe goo glue GREAT STUFF, and run a bead shoe goo alone the inner edge where the leather tucks under. Then get some type of wedge or plastic panel tool and startin the middle and push it in like two inch spots at a time after pushing in a spot tape it down to let the glue set overnight! Then work in both directions pushing in and taping! Came out 99% perfect and took 20min! I’ll try to ad some pics tomorrow?

Of course, this guy couldn't take the time to post pics. Anyone else have some ideas for this. 2006 having issues on basically all 4 armrests.

Mine has the front and left front ones failing. The left one is worst. I was thinking of trying Gorilla Glue. Unfortunately, they don't come off for an easy repair. I did use Gorilla Glue on door rivet holders when two fell off. It worked.

Thanks. I might try the shoe goo, more like a rubber cement and okay for leather. Just finalizing a deal for an 06 with 80k miles. That has the armrest issues, my 03 doesn't have any issues. Kind of strange, but no big deal.
