Ah that’s right... I thought about replacing that one, but wasn’t sure if it would make a different. The intake camshaft sensor was the one causing a similar problem for someone else so that’s the one that got swapped.
I haven’t touched the O2 sensors, do they become a possibility since the Crankshaft position sensor wasn’t swapped? Since the grounds are on the studs themselves... perhaps there is oil corrosion from the valve cover gasket that could keep it from grounding as it should? Edit* I did have oil pooling around that ground...

The ground usually fails by corrosion at the wire to terminal connection. Need to measure the Ω with a meter and wiggle the wire ends to see if the resistance changes

So after a 400 mile road trip for doctors appointments not a single issue out if it. When I got back to town I cleared the codes and ran up to the store which is just short of a 3 mile round trip. Exhaust camshaft position sensor and one of the pre cat 02 sensors... o boy.
I should be getting my new valve cover gasket in the mail today which means I will get that done today or tomorrow. Probably gonna check out the exhaust camshaft sensor too and take it out and clean it since that lip is covered in oil crude from the valve cover gasket. Not sure about the pre cat 02 sensors though, I know they rest on the fuel rail, not sure where they run to though.

Pre Cat are on the right side of engne outside of the engine cover. Easy access. See my thread I just made after replacing mine.

To answer your question finally... yes I think that is what solved the issue.
I've replaced the intake sensor and quite a few other things as well... but I am confident that was what was causing the issue, of course since I've changed only the intake camshaft position sensor my exhaust one is playing up and giving me codes. Perhaps its better to replace them both in tandem? Thankfully the exhaust sensor isn't difficult to get to. Since I have it all back together with the shotgun method I haven't had a bit of issues from it, even repeating the same test several times.
