If you "ran out of gas" more than once at 1/4 tank you definitely have siphon jet leak and almost certainly at that o-ring.

The gas spills from gravity to the right tank down to about 1/3 and people who knew they had the problem have been able to avoid a tow with a sharp left turn which will slosh a gallon of gas into the pump out as they were about to stall. No need to keep more than 1/3 of a tank to avoid the siphon jet issue

So.... New O ring and 4 layers of Teflon PTFE rated tape?
And a zip tie placed somewhere?

Yes, the standard for listing o-ring dimensions means that the ID is 22mm, and the cross section (circular since it's an o-ring) has a diameter of 2mm.

Teflon for the unlisted seal. O-ring just new o-ring. The DIY siphon thread shows where to put the zip tie.

The Teflon might not be needed you can test for leak first like I did.

Oh okay. I’ll have to go back and look at it.

I found a set of metric o rings with a matching size description, should work out. No one seems to have one in stock here locally. I figured I would take the preemptive measure to make sure that seal is good to go in the future.

22 mm = 7/8". 2mm = 0.08" very good chance to find a plumbing o-ring at home Depot that size. Also o-ring is stretchy I'm quite sure I used a 19-20mm o-ring and had to stretch it.

Update.

DISA O-Ring received.
Would PB Blaster Silicon Spray be a sufficient lubricant to make sure the seal doesn't pinch? Or would another petroleum based lubricant be better?

Crankshaft Position Sensor received.
Turns out they forgot the required O-ring... and I don't want to take a chance of the old one falling apart on me... so I've submitted a request to have the O-Ring over nighted... but it's the weekend... so you know. Lol.

Fuel Siphon Jet O-Ring... In the mail.
I had called my local Autozone and they said "Oh yeah we have an assorted metric O-Ring box and the size you need is in there." Turns out the 20x2mm they thought they saw was 20 QTY 2mm x 17... which knowing my luck would snap not having the proper thickness. All that aside... ordered it from BAVAuto and it should be in anytime now.

Useless Gasket repair... waiting to knock out the Fuel System problems at the same time.

Another note...

I've noticed an oil leak thats significant... drive way looks like a ford has been parked there over night. Checked the valve cover and no signs of leaks... Checked the OFH Gasket... and no signs of leaks.

Which leaves either the rear seal... or the dreaded Oil Pan Gasket or CCV, but on the bright side I need to put some new axles in as they've started clicking on a hard turn left or right while accelerating.

Probably going to shotgun the CCV, Oil pan Gasket and axels all at the same time.

Oh boy.... so I got the Crankshaft Position Sensor replaced today.

However... while moving everything back into place, the vent from the CCV to VANOS... happened to be dry rot and snapped.

Of course causing me to shut the hood and walk away to keep from shouting obscenities.

I would like to think it will... haven't had a chance to test it.

USPS was supposed to deliver my new CCV system and I waited ALL DAY, stepped out to go get some pumpkins from the market down the road and I swear that they had to be waiting for me to leave. Wasn't gone twenty minutes and they stuck a "Ooops. Sorry we missed you." tag on my door.

Currently I have the intake manifold taken off the car waiting for my new CCV system. As soon as I get the parts in I plan to get it all together and give it a test run.

Update,

So after a week of pain staking working. The intake is off.

Though something strange I discovered... I had oil around every single intake gasket. The CCV Oil Seperator was leaking from the bottom... so maybe?

Also the line that runs across the top of the intake... I managed to break while taking off the intake. Oil Return hose. @.@

Looking the intake manifold over it would seem I have had a plethora of vacuum leaks on my hand probably since before I owned the vehicle. Every single hose was barely hanging on if at all. The black and white piece was hanging by a single hose.
