Need Indy in NY Tristate Area

Been out of the Indy Game for a few years now. Been DIY for the past few years and have been taking care of everything myself. Extra busy with work lately and don’t have any spare time until summer. Any recommendations on a shop. I don’t mind a little bit of a drive. In my experience the smaller Indy’s where the owner personally works on the cars tends to be better. I used to go religiously to project M spec and motorcepts and have been disappointed recently.

Omg motorworks in LI. My friend owns and works on cars there. Google his shop. He has Instagram and other shit. You can even see my x in a few of his pics.

Trio Auto Center ft. Hamilton ave. BROOKLYN NY. Close to city. My go to place for when I can’t make the drive to LI.

I'm getting my valve stem seals done by an indy who's been offering the service to other members on bimmerfest (with blazing reviews). Met with the guy yesterday just to talk and prediagnose the car before he starts so I could show him every thing besides the seals were fine with my car.

He's shop is in Queens/Long Island, and seemed very knowledgeable in BMWs as he worked at a dealership before and only works on BMWs and has taken BMW specific training courses that are offered for dealer technicians. I didn't check his credentials but just asking lots questions from what I learned here and had all the right answers.

He had just finished another vss job on a silver 4.8is that was there as well.

Let me know if you are interested and I will PM you guys number.

Thanks guys I’ve heard good things about omg from a few people and think I definitely have to check them out. I live in Manhattan so that’s a little out there but for as little as I take it to the shop it’s definitely worth a shot.

Do you know if the guy used the AGA expandable coolant pipe or kept everything OEM?
