I am fairly certain, all 4.8iS came with cold weather package. I have the dealer brochure, I can double check. Heated steering wheel was a separate option.

Seeing all these high mileage 4.8 makes me want to put mine in a bubble

You know, now that you ask that... I don't think I've ever seen one without it. I've seen them without the aluminum running boards, DSP/nav, and the slide out load floor. Those (off the top of my head) are the only options I remember not seeing on a 4.8.

The 4.8is was one of the fully loaded from factor cars, sans very few options for the US market. I think the M2/C is the only one in recent years to rival it.

Navigation (W/DSP) ($1800)
Heated Steering Wheel ($150)
Slide Load trunk floor ($380)
Rear Side door airbags ($385)
Sport / Comfort seat choices were N/C

As I recall running boards may have been a post-delivery dealer install option. I've never seen a build sheet code for them.

What I don't get is why there were not more orders for heated steering wheel! It was so inexpensive.

I agree about the heated wheel. I just installed one in mine. Love it.

Factory tow package seems a rare option too.

I feel like tow packages are about 50/50. I see a lot with them and about the same amount without.
Unless most put them on after like I did.
