FWIW, the SLS codes are real....I was getting one ONLY when it hit winter. I suspected it was a pinhole leak, hardly detectable until expansion/contraction hit. Changed the bags as part of PM, and nary a SLS code past that

The code I’m getting is accumulator pressure remains constant. I had that when I purchased the car and did bagpipesandys seal kit on the compressor which fixed that. Fast forward a year later and I stared getting same message. It’s been coming about once a month now. Ride height doesn’t change regardless of how long it sits. Trying To decide whether to do the seal kit again or try a new compressor out. I changed the front springs this summer so I’m guessing that could have weakened my pump

Off topic or on. Aside from the weekend warrior analysis, with diag tools like the ones being described, does it show you line faults and corresponding items
For Example, it would be something to the effect like Trans Fault XXX Voltage Spike XX or Low Voltage XXXX |

I have found the error list adequate but still leaving some room for interpretation. It does list out any and all errors present and shadowed and the ability to clear them by individual module or a complete all module clearing.
I couldn't find any screenshots of the EGS module errors but you can get the idea from the following DME error screenshot.

So is the cable that comes with BMW scanner 1.4 proprietary to it ? Does the K/D CAN pin problem come into play ?

Yes it is proprietary to BMW Scanner 1.4. Mine came with pins 7 and 8 bridged already but some cables out there from fleaBay need to be bridged.

Big thx to Mr R. on the Cold check tweaks.
I must have been living under a rock ! All these years, and I never even bothered to get a diag tool with some real visibility ! I was so impressed, I setup my VM with XP and Inpa. Just gotta wait till that cable arrives |
