Did BMW Redesign the Seal on the Xover Pipe?
Title says it all. I am getting ready to tear into this beast in the next month or so and am accumulating all the parts necessary to do a "one time" surgery. Doing all the timing covers so will have the "opportunity" to do an OEM Xover pipe. So, has BMW updated the seals that were used or are they still garbage? I don't want to have to do another Xover pipe on this truck... and I intend to own it for a VERY long time. This is also why I am ordering everything from FCP.
I did search, but could not find anything. Googled it too... all references to Xover pipes led to one of the aftermarket solutions.
