Electrical Drivers Door Switch issue

So yesterday I replaced the window regulator on the driver's side on my 2003 X5 4.4 (for the second time...not sure of the quality of the aftermarket product...)

Anyway everything went well and now my driver side goes up and down smoothly.

However I have a new problem - the switches for the 3 other windows (passenger, rear) don't work anymore (they work fine from their respective doors). I also lost central locking. And I have an "Open door" message coming from the driver side. And there is no more illumination lights in the driver side switches panel (the little orange light)...

So I obviously have an electrical problem somewhere....would anyone know if this could all be related to a bad connection in the main black connector on the driver switches panel? or the panel itself?

It seems to have started happening as I was testing the new regulator with the switch.
