On the 3.0 L it's built into the oil level sensor that bolts into the bottom of the pan. Maybe someone with a v8 can chime in.

As mentioned on the other forum...click the link below to the TIS website.
You'll see that the oil temp sensor is listed as B6238 in the schematic. It also has a built-in link that you can click on and it will explode into an image that shows exactly where the sensor is located. Here's a link to the schematic if you type OIL TEMP SENSOR into the search box once you've entered the last 7 digits of your VIN (or vehicle selection): https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...engine/apG3K0E

I just saw your later replies over on the other forum...I recommend the same thing. Click one of the TIS links I gave above and start over (click the HOME link) and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN.
Then type OIL TEMP SENSOR in the search box and look for links that will take you to it's location. In my search I did a generic search for LHD since we don't have any of your vehicles information (like the VIN).
