Windows stuck in the up position, anything other than regulators?

I have a 2001 X5 with around 71k miles.

The drivers window had been acting funny and eventually was stuck in the down position.

I replaced the window regulator about a month ago and everything worked fine.

In the process of the window dropping down, the cable part of the regulator sliced through the tint, so I had both front windows re-tinted.

This was just a few days ago, so I had not attempted to roll down the windows while the tint dried.

Now, both windows would not go down, only making a click in attempts to.

The drivers finally went down very slowly about halfway, won't go further either up or down.

The passengers will go about 1mm down or up.

Is this related to the tint install? I can't see how...

Or, did the passanger regulator finally fail, (original one).

and the drivers fail after only a month?

It could be any number of issues.

1. another bad regulator (unlikely, but possible)
2. bad window switch
3. window motor going bad
4. bolts holding the window glass to the regulator have come loose. This is what happened to me
