On the way home last weekend I got hit by the rock-spreading truck and a big ol' boulder dented my PDC sensor!!!

Any way to disable the PDC until I get it fixed?! I read one other thread, but it didn't have any info. HELP PLEEEEASE!!!

Presumably you want to disable because it beeps constantly when activated? You can unplug the beeper speaker, but you will also lose your door chime. I don't know if the PDC system will function open, but you could try unplugging the damaged sensor at the bumper.

Do you have the disable button on the console just above the ash tray? That's how I turn mine off.

I do have the button on the ash tray, but I get one long loud beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep when it comes on because the sensor is damaged - I just want to disable it until I get it fixed.

Check your users manual to see if you could simply unplug a fuse to take care of it...

I believe the PDC sensors have connectors at the bumper--the rear ones have to be disconnected when installing a hitch...
