Anyone with the V8's run into issues where the trans coolers tend to leak coolant?
I got a pop up a few days ago to check coolant level and found that the reservoir tank was pretty much dry. Filled it up the next day and had the car idling and noticed little drops coming from the under panel so thought it was the valley pan but if I recall correctly its usually towards the back of the engine where you will find the leaks. Anyways dropped the front splash guard and found that the trans cooler right side where it connects to the radiator was leaking. I pushed it back on there and it stopped leaking but I dont trust it. Its been fine for years but just randomly started to leak. At least I was home just moving the car when that check coolant light came up! Anyways Im tempted to just replace the O-ring that goes to it on both sides but wanted to see some opinions if I should just change out the entire unit? Do these tend to go bad eventually? Or should I just swap out the orings and call it a day? Curious if anyone has had this problem and what they did to resolve it.
Thanks
