Rally racing SUVs tends to end up with lots of flipped SUVs. That's why rally cars are generally very small and low. Most SUVs, including E53s, can be flipped without even the help of a deep rut or sidewalk curb.

Have you asked to organizers about minimum safety equipment such as roll cages, full harness safety belts, approved rally seats, rally instrumentation, struts and braces etc.?
I had a family member rally a Mazda RX back in the day and he went through more than a few engines, whole vehicles, associated bolt on equipment. He owned a used car lot so he picked up vehicles pretty easy and the mechanic on his payroll did all the prep. He was also loaded which also seemed to help as some of the bills were quite steep.

The E53 X5 has a super-high center of gravity and tendency to roll over and fip. Don't do it, especially not in large SUV like the X5. There's a reason why SUVs have those rollover warning stickers.
