NCS Expert ABG Module Recode

Howdy ya'll! This is my first time posting but I've been enjoying this forum for years for the vast knowledge base here. I need some help as I’m outside of my understanding here… I have a 2001 E53 with a 4.4 and a little while ago my SRS light came on, I checked it out with INPA and it came back with “ABG ECU Internal Error”. So I snagged a new-to-me ABG ECU on ebay and installed it (that’s a rough place to have to get to under the center console but I swapped them out) and tried recoding the module with NCS Expert. I’ve recoded other modules in the past on this car and an E39 I have… but this time I got an error. The message read this: “Error in CABD! Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG! COAPI-2064: error erasing coding data (e.g. ZCS) C-MRS3, FS_LOESCHEN: ERROR_ECU_REJECTED”
I need some help here – not sure what a next step would be… could I please have some advice? Ive attached a PDF screen shot of the error as displayed on my laptop.
Thanks all!

Do the modules have the same part number?

You should check your original part number against RealOEM to see if it is date specific.

I cant speak for the ABG, but the DSC module for example are date specific: up to 09/2001 and between 09/2001 and 10/2003 - these are not interchangeable - ask me how i know

You might have to have it registered/coded to the car. Try to find someone local that is able to do that for you. Can get very complicated.
