What I'd like to know is why ESS abandoned it? GPower, too. Seems like there were one or two test mules and nothing came to market. What did they find out? Did something break?

Lending credit to some mysterious blocker is that no one else offered this either. Dinan, Active, no one offered this for an N62 with any meaningful install base. Is it just that the thing needs seals and a transmission rt ab the time the whole car gets affordable enough to buy and mod? Does the roots style they tried blow something up? What?

Well anyway, I'd love to see a roots style for this motor and on my X5. Now that we have the '04 4.4, I could reliably start start moving this one to Bronx Brawler with the right hardware and functional application.
