What model x5 is this interior from?

I have alcantara in my e46 sedan and wagon so i do love cloth interior. i fell in love with the imola over alcantara I saw in the for sale section and missed. I never even realized that the alcantara that came in imola cars had imola undertones in the backing.

Apparently there were only RED and BLUE alcantara seats depending on if the car was imola or lemans/estoril? thats what the OP the below thread said when i asked him

I ordered and received this e53 X5 sport interior from ebay but it has white undertone backing and im so mad at myself for not catching the mistake.

and i am not a fan of it at all, so annoyed i didnt pay attention to that type of detail.

so, i'm really curious if there was only red and blue, what car did these come from then?

The interior you have looks like it is from a silver or black 4.6is...

Yes the red undertones look nicer, but I am biased


*EDIT* I found your other post that linked the ebay auction and looking carefully at the pictures you can see they were from a Titanium Silver X5 (last two pics)

I've seen it in 4.6is silver and black models, and even estoril models...rarely in good condition.

i dont know why i didnt even look at those pictures but you are right! silver X5 ok then that makes sense. still fee shitty i wasted money on the wrong color seats.

the seats were stained but I used a carpet steam cleaner and got them out and the seats are stain free now.

So here is some more clarification based on some interior codes I was able to run off a few VINs on the VIN decoder...


You bought this interior:
LEDER M TEXTUR/SCHWARZ/SILBER (F2SV)

You want this interior code:
LEDER M TEXTUR/SCHWARZ/ROT (F2RS)

yea im pretty sure finding the F2Rs will be even harder lol. theres a set on ebay for $700 no shipping and its pretty beat up with large areas of missing material unfortunately.

man if there was someone i knew in that area i would pay them to get the seats for me and remove the seat cushions from the seat frames and ship just the seat fabric in a large box lol.


thats what i did when i bought rear e46 touring alcantara seats, had a friend over seas buy them and remove the seat covers and ship them in a bag and then i just installed them onto spare touring rear seat set i had lol.

M-Texture Alcantara came in 3 colorways: Silver, Red, Blue

Leder M Texture/Schwarz/Blau M Texture (F2B2)
Leder M Texture/Schwarz/Silber M Texture (F2SV)
Leder M Textur/Schwarz/Rot M-Texture (F2RS)

A few board members in the 4.6iS/4.8iS registry have these interiors. All are fairly rare in my opinion.
