Decided to change from F2SV to F2RS
Leder M Texture/Schwarz/SilberM Texture (F2SV) To Leder M Textur/Schwarz/RotM-Texture (F2RS) color. Had a local upholster that specializes in color changes with water based dye. He mixed up a custom color based on the imola color paint job on the x5. I couldn't be more happy.. The silver despite being steam cleaned... Still looked old and dingy... It bothered me a lot but now it looks like a much better fit. I love how the perforated alcantara still is soft, the fibers still have texture and go different directions and even you look at an angle the red disappears and you only see anthracite color instead. I preferred it better before. But only because of the titanium interior trim. If you had black or carbon (anything darker really) I think the red would really compliment it very nicely. The silver interior trim worked very well with the silver alcantara seat color. Your upholstery guy did a very nice job.
