Says genuine. I bought two actually one for each car but can't find the order for the second one. Bonus: replacement came with new tether which is how I lost the first one no tether.

I was able to flip mine over and get it to stop throwing evap codes, but I'm going to need one before long. I just assumed this seal would fit, but will be nice to get a definitive answer.

LOL. And my junkyard has spilled out from the garage to the side of the house too. I think of it more as a museum than a junk yard, trying to reduce the hit on property values around here.

Back in early 2016, I got a couple of P0313 codes which I thought might be fuel cap related. I inspected the cap, saw some cracks on the sealing surface. Checked as best I could back then and concluded the gasket was not sold separately.

So as I mentioned in an earlier post here, I removed, cleaned, flipped the gasket and applied some Permatex Ultra Black on the cracked bottom surface.

3+ years later and those codes have never returned, never failed a smog check (they test for that seal here in CA), and the car has not blown up even once!

I might try the permatex fix if I can get the old one off in one piece. it’s pretty busted up..

I also just went ahead and ordered a couple of the replacement seals from rkxtech. they couldn’t confirm fitment 100% but said it will MOST LIKELY work, lol! but super responsive and I got a shipping email within 10 min of ordering.

free returns, 10% off coupon and only a few bucks shipping. I figure it is worth a shot.

I will let you know how it goes...even though my hunch is that this seal is for 2009 and later models.

Well guess what fellers. We got a winner. New seal arrived in 2 days and I can confirm that it fits perfectly. same design and size. exact match for the factory part. RXktech is ON the ball too. Got here in two days. Awesome suggestion. Thanks!

Awesome! I'll be ordering one soon. Flipping mine over stopped my evap code for now, but I'm sure it won't last for too long.
