Window won’t go down after changing regulator and motor

Newbie here looking for some advice...I changed the regulator and motor on a 2001 X5 4.4. The window goes up fine but will not go down. Both regulator and motor are new parts and all other windows work just fine. Any advice?

Thanks
Art

Check your connections first. Maybe you bent s pin putting it together. Look for rust in those connections as well.

Check fuses. There are multiple. I know for sure each of my windows are on a separate fuse in the front. Rears are both on one fuse.

I’m not 100% sure with our cars, but computer may need to learn the motor stops. So you may want to try and press the auto up and down buttons.

But off the bat, sounds like a bad motor.
