SOLVED. ignition switch. Took it apart and just as the sun settled, I realized I had a perfect file set. Cleaned each of the 6 contacts. File fit perfect. Put it back together. No more messages everything works perfect.

At same time I suffered a loose hose clamp on power steering reservoir. WTF. I personally swapped all the hoses about 4 years ago. Must have loosened a bit. Was significantly lose. Anyway. Added CHF11s. Cleaned the steering U joint, and gave it a solid dose of lube.

All good now. Yay for free fix. Gotta cancel that ECS order now. Lol.

wpoll will become famous soon enough
Thanks for the follow-up and glad you got it sorted!

With your initial symptoms, the clock-spring was a dead ringer for the fault but once the additional errors appeared.. yeah, ignition switch! Odd how it gives such a weird array of faults….

It was insane. So much stuff was messed up. Auto wipers stopped working too. Once my horn kicked in, I knew I was home.

Even INPA and DIS couldn’t communicate with the modules properly. First I ever considered that my software took a dump.

Anyway. Everything is back in order.

I bought a set of jeweler files a while back. Anyway, those things keep saving my ass. If anyone interested.
